Your responsibilities

  • Prepare stowage, lifting, and cargo securing plans
  • Work on new engineering inquiries from the chartering team
  • Maintain communication with internal and external clients regarding technical aspects
  • Collaborate with colleagues in different departments, such as Chartering, Operations, and Technical Gear Department, to ensure smooth project preparation and execution
  • Cooperation with vessel’s command
  • Contribute to fostering a positive QHSE culture

Your profile

  • experience in the maritime and multipurpose or heavy-lift shipping sector
  • Broad knowledge of lifting operations and lifting equipment
  • Nautical or technical diploma or other relevant practical experience in heavy-lift shipping
  • Professional experience (5+ years) in the field of heavy lifting
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Proficiency in CAD and MS Office
  • Demonstrable ability to prioritize and organize work effectively

As Cargo Superintendent at SAL Engineering in Hamburg, you will be responsible for the technical preparation and engineering execution of complex heavy lift and multipurpose cargo operations – from concept planning to safe implementation.
